This is probably the 5th or 6th time that video's resurfaced in the past year. It makes a valid point which I agree is invaluable...however, I think it's a bit misleading in terms of its premise & conclusion:
When driving a car, you're never doing anything as singularly focussed as Trying To Count The Number Of Passes Between Members Of A Constantly-Moving Basketball Team.
You may be scanning the road taking in all kinds of activity that resembles the seething morass of the above-mentioned bball team, but you're not concentraing on finding patterns within that morass, you're simply looking for anomalies.
Try watching the video again, only this time, instead of of Count The Number Of Passes Made By The White Team, treat the objective as Find The Anomaly. Suddenly that bear sticks out like a sore thumb.
As it should.
