Someone mentioned on here a while ago that there were a lot of cycling titles on Netflix. So far, all I can find is the 2005 Tour, Hell on Wheels, American Flyer and Breaking Away. I've tried different searches but can't find much else. Is there much else? Can you folks list the titles to some of the films you've found? Thanks in advance.

They should have "The Hard Road" circa 2001. I'd give it an 8 out 10.

well, with Netflix on-then-off throttling I tried Blockbuster. Geographically, they both have one day turn-arounds considering I live so close to Chicago.

Being an interface designer, Netflix's website has a lot more depth and even their API is a lot more refined and used by 3rd party apps. Blockbuster is promising a new site soon and honestly, I sure hope so.

Netflix began throttling my rentals because I was turning them over quickly since I really hate watching TV. However, Netflix wins if you have multiple renters in the house as they have profiles within queues. My wife got one video, I got two.

As for library, well Blockbuster categorizes their movies into several categories. Netflix is rather general. I didn't care for how hard it was to browse their library. Netflix and I only got along by their search functionality.

In the end, it was the in-store coupon that won me out. However, I've yet to use one. I remember why, too... I signed up for Netflix because I never wanted to get in the car to drive to the store and then look at several plastic boxes for 20+ minutes. I wanted them in my mailbox. I suspect I will go back to Netflix.

Netflix also announced downloading movies by years end. Also, there's a partnership with TiVo but not sure how that is working out. There's a great site to watch Netflix's actions:

I'm not sure how broadly you define "cycling flicks",

You just stated all the cycling flicks Netflix has. Whoever told you there were many bicycle DVD's on Netflix, were wrong.
But here are some I like

"Triplets" is really hilarious, if you dig imaginative animation.

This one is a classic, if you're into post-war Italian cinema:

And this recent Chinese remake of the story isn't bad

Hell On Wheels

I have not checked to see if netflix still has Hell On Wheels available. I've heard that the dvd is defective and there is a long wait. Maybe they pulled it off. I went to Amazon.com and found a brand new copy for around $23.00 (including shipping). I've watched it twice. It's a nice cycling flick to have in your collection. The only time I watch cycling flicks is in the winter when I'm stuck in the house and can't get out on my bike. And for what it's worth, Hell On Wheels is worth watching...

I rented HoW from Netflix a few months ago and had no problem playing it. I didn't really like it though. Overcoming was much better.
