I recently took my DA 7800 rear wheel to be trued at my LBS following a minor wreck, and was told that the design had changed due to small cracks that form around the spoke holes in the rim. They were not recalling these wheels, just replacing them when the problem becomes evident. If you have these wheels you need to check you rear wheel around the spoke holes for small cracks. I am told they are replacing the wheels with the new 7801 design which has offset holes.

Oh, and by the way, there is a recall on front wheel skewers from Shimano made after Nov. 05. Check the Shimano site for details.
