Calvin over on the Park Tool site gives a couple of options for routing the derailleur cables.

Anyone running DA 7900 that can tell me how yours are routed and how you like that method?

Also curious how Campy "under the bar tape" cables get routed as it seem they would have similar issues.

I routed mine on the outside of the bars. That way they don't come over the top near the hoods which eliminates two problems: 1) feeling the cable through the tape on the heel of your hands when riding in the hoods or bar tops; and 2) smoother, more subtle cable radiuses, especially for the more sensitive derailleur cables.

I would only run them over the top if I had a set of bars that was drilled or had recesses for the cables.
