I have 2004 Mavic Cosmos wheels. My rear wheel had a broken a spoke and a bent one and the place where the broken spoke connects to the hub also broke after I got hit from behind by a fellow cyclist. I took it into the bike shop the mechanic said after speaking with Mavic he said I needed a new wheel. (I forgot the reason he gave). Anyhow, the bike shop is having a 25% sale and I was wondering if I should look into buying a new set of wheels or just get a replacement Cosmos wheel for $170. The LBS has American Classic 350 and 420's, Ksyriums and some Bontrager wheels (don't remember the models). Any suggestions? I ride a 2004 Cannondale R1000 (CAAD7) and weigh 125lb. I usually do about 80 miles a week mostly rollers and some hills with the local club. I was thinking a pair of Topolino AC29's would be cool to have but the LBS doesn't carry them.
