buy the new frame. and buy your kid a new bike. Force the little demon child to ride. get He or she sponsered. Kids these days can't get good jobs anyways, even with a degree.
Dang it, upgrade fever....
Have an original Tarmac Comp (2005?), nothing is wrong with it, but find myself lusting at the new bikes. I am 6'4" 190lbs. and have a descent sprint.
Can someone please help me justify upgrading? Please tell me I will see a noticeable difference on a new Tarmac.
Pondering both the Pro SL and the SL2 Tarmacs.
Or should I do the responsible thing and save the money for the kids' college fund.

Went ahead and ordered the Pro SL, SRAM. Wish it would have been available in the black & red as I think that looks better than the white, but still pretty excited.
At least I can stop thinking about it now.

61cm, same as my older Tarmac. Now I am off for a weekend of racing on my old tired bike, will probably be daydreaming of the new one and crash.....
