Hi guys, looking to sell a family members old De Rosa road bike. Not sure of the model or worth. Hopefully you can help. There are wear points in the paint but in general good shape. Frame appears to be aluminum, with carbon fiber forks, neck, seat post and pedal arms.

That is a DeRosa Planet. It looks like Shimano parts, my guess is 9 speed. DeRosa is a well respected brand, but the aluminum frames command less $$ than steel or carbon fiber. The chewed up paint on the top tube is unfortunate and will affect value. Here’s one, better equipped, in better condition recently sold on eBay.

I would ask around $600 for yours. Good luck with the sale! I‘m sure it’s a good rider and if I were 25 years younger I would buy it for a “won’t break my heart if I crash it” race bike.
