What am I doing wrong??? I feel absolutely DEAD after a 40-60mi. ride... I eat the usual eggs, oatmeal, toast, juice,etc. But nothing seems to make a difference. Any help/ideas would be GREAT thanks.........
need more info. How long have you been riding -- is this considerably more mileage than you're used to? DEAD meaning you're exhausted and "bonked," dead meaning your legs burn and you want to vomit / pass out? Do you eat / drink during these rides, how intense are they, etc, etc.
Basically, either you're not eating and hydrating during the ride and bonking, or else you're pushing yourself too far beyond your endurance limits, or you're pushing hard and causing muscle fatigue / damage.
