It's time to replace the cleats for use with my Ritchey Pro Peloton pedals. The Ritchey cleats are harder to find (not in stock at the LBS's) and more costly by a couple bucks vs. the Look Delta-style cleats. I'm wondering whether the ubiquitous Delta-style cleats would work with my pedals? For me it's less a matter of the $5 price difference than the stupidity of selling a pedal system that is very similar to a ubiquitous product line yet just different enough to demand spending extra money for a much harder-to-find alternative.

Can anyone confirm whether Delta-style cleats from Look or Nashbar do indeed work well with Ritchey pro peloton pedals?

For reference, here are the ritchey cleats:

and Nashbar's generic delta-style cleat:

Thanks.

I had two sets of these pedals and I never used the supplied cleats. I always used Delta cleats and they worked flawlessly.

The pedals themselves...well, that's another story...
