Just thought I'd share this article from the NY Times.

It's got to be tough living in NYC, paying a million bucks for a one bedroom unit, with no place to store your bike. But I guess if you have the money, you can enjoy the amenities available out here in the 'burbs.

But I particularly like this idea: "At 252 East 57th Street, a condominium under construction near Second Avenue, one of the door attendants stationed at the porte-cochere will be able to whisk away a bike after a ride and have it readied for the next outing."

I have a bike room and a dive gear room.

both need a serious cleaning / organizing session.

Sounds great for the commuter bike. No way I'd hang a nice bike in one of those rooms where anyone and everyone can sling their bike into it every time they put it up or take it down off the wall.
