I have a DT/Hugi 240 (not 240s) rear hub which is spaced to 135mm and I would like to convert it to 130mm. My usually very helpful LBS called DT who said they didn't have the needed part, which I believe is just the NDS axle cap.

Does anyone know where I can find the part(s) to respace this hub? Any suggestions? Thanks!

My understanding is that the axle cap differs between the 240 and the 240s, and that the 240s spacer won't work in my case. I guess it's worth a try though ...

Edit: It does actually say there that it fits a 240. I'll try it out. Thanks.

At some point in the 240s life it went from a 10mm steel axle to the current 15mm aluminium axle. The old silver "Hugi" hubs were 10mm, and all the "s" version are 15mm, but I'm not 100% sure about some of the later black "Hugi 240" models.

Pull one of the endcaps off and measure the axle diameter - If it's 10mm then the part in the awbike link won't help. The endcaps are machined from solid bar so someone with a lathe would be able to modify your current endcap or machine a new one :thumbsup:
