i have a pair of these rims mounted on record hubs with straight dt spokes. however where the eyelets are on the rims there is a slight bulge either side of the eyelet on the rim. the spoke tension is good not too tight, is this normal as my open pro's have nothing like this? i don't remeber seeing this bullbing on the rims prior to the build. also i am not sure if the rims are single or double eyelets, but there is no eyelet connecting/touching the outer "rim" if that makes sense. does this mean they are the single eyelet version?

thanx for the info. so does this mean that the bulges are precursors to the area actually developing a crack as i have heard happens to these rims? i am dissappointed that these rims have even developed these bulges. oh well live and learn i s'pose. ambrosio excellence will grace the hubs soon.
