Hi
Anyboby with riding experience on these wheels? I am considering buying a used set of 2007 wheels with low miles. I would like to have some real world feedback before I buy on performance, ie, stiffness, acceleration, as well as durability and servicability. I imagine the carbon rim would improve stiffness over the comparable aluminum or scandium 7801 rim. Although I am familiar with DA durabilty, I have some concern over the proprietary spoke design (the nipples are located at the hub for reduced rolling weight per shimano). however I would not use them as everyday wheels, but rather as race wheels.

thanks for your help.

Never ridden carbon wheels, but Dura Ace hubs are regarded among the very best out there. If the price is right, I'd say go for it.
