I currently have Mavic CXP22/Cannodale C3 hubs on my Cannodale Carbon Six. They have been bombproof. I want use the new wheels for training and triathlons. I'm looking at new Easton EA50SLs or used Mavic Elites. Would the Eastons be much of an upgrade? Or should I look at the EA70s? Thoughts? A tri-bike is maybe next season.

I have the easton ea50 sl, got them from chain reaction cycle online and no complaints from me. Never rode the mavic elite so no baseline to compare. I guess what I am saying is I really don't have much to offer on advice.

But the easton's roll nice!

how old are your current wheels? One thought would be to hold off and buy something more tri-specific with the tri bike
