I'm attempting to edit a final portion of a strava ride where I thought I'd hit the stop button when I loaded my bike back in the car after a ride. I posted the ride thinking I could figure it out but it shows a bunch of bogus KOMs as the result of the fast car ride back.

I now use strava premium instead of WKO for training and this was an important hard effort. I've deleted (hopefully temporarily) the entire ride from strava.

Anyone have a clue how to either delete or edit the last portion of the last lap (or the entire last lap since it was all downhill)?
It is a Garmin 1000 that I use for data collection.

Re-upload your ride back on Strava.

Mark it private.

Click on the wrench icon.

Select "Crop" from the menu.

A slide will appear allowing you to move the start/end of your ride.

Once the selection is made, click "CROP".

Make your ride "public"

Voila!

Simple. This occurs quite often. Strava has a tool for it.

https://support.strava.com/hc/en-us/articles/216919437-Crop-Tool-for-Activities
This article explains how to use one of our best tools for editing an activity - cutting out unwanted, inaccurate, or motor-assisted parts of an activity after upload.

Cropping an Activity:
The Crop Tool is designed to help users edit out unwanted parts of their GPS activity data. Use the "crop" tool to trim parts from either the beginning or end of your activity data. Unfortunately, this tool is not able to cut out parts from the middle of an activity.
