Can you throw me a few websites?

This is not for handling spaced out addicts. It's for (attempting) to deal with the constant cactus attacks at our place in West Texas. Regular work gloves are not up to the task. So I figure, hey, EMTs wear needle-resistant gloves, maybe those will work on cactus?

thanks

Wow, those are cool. I want some and I have absolutely no reason to need them. I just have a glove fetish.

there are gloves that are similar in look that i buy at home depot that work pretty well with the cactus at my house. they aren't "sharps resistant" per se, but they do a good job of keeping all the small stickers out and they are a lot cheaper. I think i bought 2 pairs for $6 last time i was there.

OH... I thought the title said "SHARK" resistant gloves, and I was thinking I am glad I don't have a job that requires shark resistant anything.

Though I'm not officially an EMS or First Responder, I do make it a point to rush over to accident scenes and repeatedly ask the medical folks if there is anything I can do to help while I take pictures.

So, I figure, that gives me some expertise on the subject at hand (Get it? At hand! Get it! BWHAHAHA)

How to avoid shark attacks...

You don't have to outswim the shark, just the child in the tasty looking costume.

Effective. Evul, but effective.

I'm curious about how often the cacti gang up and attack. And by any chance are these 'attacks' clustered around late evenings and weekends?

Nope, as long as I sit in my lounge chair sippin my Cask 16, I'm reasonably safe from the cacti.

It's those hikes into the canyon that result inevitably in issues.

yeah I know gloves don't protect forearms.

Kevlar and/or Nomex.

I side with Nomex, and it's burn and drip proof.
