Has anyone had experience using the lubrication ports on Eurus wheels? The owner's manual says to take the the wheels to an authorized dealer for lubrication. Lubing them shouldn't be that tough. What type of grease/oil should be used? Is a special grease gun required?

thanks for any input

disassemble...

The only proper way to maintain a Campy hub is to take the thing apart, remove all the old grease with mineral spirits and reassemble with new grease. If you get a grease gun with the injector tip, it fills the entire area around the axle with grease. At one time, it was intended as an oil port. The latest hubs and wheelset from Campy no longer have any lube ports.

You can find the maintenance instructions for just about any Campy prodduct at www.campagnolo.com.
