Two weeks ago we had what was supposed to be the second annual DFW Training ride..

As the attached link will show it turned into the DFW Trauma ride..

http://forums.roadbikereview.com/showthread.php?t=131466

I had to do something to get rid of the demons, bad karma, bad gugu, evil spirits, what ever you want to call it that haunted the ride. .I was willing to sacrifice myself so others can ride next year:p

I ended up doing the ride solo today to rid the area of the demons...

Here are some pics of the ride...I hereby declare the evil spirits gone.

Next year's ride will have only good karma:cool:

Nice legwarmers.

I rode today but I didn't take the camera. I have the Seattle to Portland in July so I need to get some consecutive hours in the saddle. IME, nothing prepares you for ten hours in the saddle like ten hours in the saddle.

You are making me feel guilty for not visiting my family enough. I haven't been to the DFW area since the trip when we had lunch.

Strong work. Now I have one less thing to fear about Dallas.

1 down 3,999,999 to go.

I still love that bike, and the fact that someone has more leg hair than me :).

Well done Dave. V3 of the ride thanks you for your selfless effort. I think your good vibes floated my way on Saturday. I was at WRL riding and had this sudden urge to ride over and jump on a train to Ft Worth.

ChrisH, how are the spoke cards coming along? I'm getting requests from my non-RBR bunch. And Dallas loves you, my friend. You are welcome over here anytime. I'll be happy to escort you whereever you want to go.

Haven't gotten them back from the guy that laminates them for me yet. Hopefully late this week or early next. I was a bit delayed getting them to him though. Ran outta ink on my printer (totally my fault).
