1. the 1980 miracle on ice (USA Mens hockey wins gold)
2. in 84 when Bill Johnson "got a little bit out of control" in the downhill and still won gold. I actually rode up the chairlift with Bill and his son about 6 years ago at mammoth mountain. nice guy.

those are my 2 most memorable. #1 was awesome to watch them make it through those games.

I walked into that arena a year after that. It STILL brought goose-bumps to me. Certainly, one of the proudest moments in US Olympic history.

In 2002 when Canada won both the men's and women's ice hockey gold medals.

I also have fond memories of watching the Lillehammer games. There was something about those Norwegian games that seems more traditional than the recent three Olympics. The outdoor speed skating was fantastic and is something we may not see for a very long time to come.

Perhaps the best memory regarding triumph is Myriam Bedard winning both of the women's biathlon events for Canada.
