I'm 165 lbs and I'm looking for a climbing wheel, the Bicycle Wheel Warehouse Blackset Race SL wheels seem like a good deal at $500 and 1304 grams. Has anyone ridden these? Do they hold up well?

I've never ridden a wheelset under 1500 grams and I'm worried about durability.

The Blackset race wheels use Revolution spokes throughout even on the driveside of the rear hub. while this ok for your weight have them go to a thicker spoke on the driveside like a db14 or competition spokes. I do not have any experience with this wheelset but have plenty with building revolutions spokes, great everywhere but the driveside.

Have you looked at Nimble spyders, similar price and weight? http://www.nimble.net/ these will have the thicker driveside spokes.

Thanks for the advice... I'll look into both wheels more and report back once I ride them.
