Need some help. I'm buying this bike at the moment used and have been told it's a 2015 year. I've also been told it has an external Di2 battery. I thought that they had an internal battery.

Any advice how I accurately age it please?

Click on the year you want to look at. They go back from '15 to '10. That's why it's called 'previous sites'.

If you can take a picture that would help. I don't know about the FRD but the 2015 AR 3 can accommodate either internal or external batteries. The Seat post does come with the necessary clips to mount the Di2 battery inside it and there are screws on the down tube just above the bottom bracket.

I just looked at the picture of the FRD frameset on Felt's web site and it looks like it is the same as the AR 3.

Also part "V" which is the Electric only section in the manual http://2015.feltbicycles.com/Resources/Manuals/2014_AR_Owners_Manual.pdf shows both internal and external batteries.

Cheers. I think it's a 2015. I couldn't see properly on my phone last night but on my PC today the graphics on the 2015 on the Felt site match the one I'm looking at.

My F2 has the model year on the BB along with size and model.
