I own an 08 Specialized Tricross that I use for my daily commuter, and I'm thinking about putting some fenders on it in case it gets wet. I was looking for something along the lines of what comes stock on the Trek Portland. Small and basic, but still serves the purpose. Any suggestions on what works well for about any suggestions, and isn't super monstrous?

Does your frame have eyelets for fenders? If not, I would suggest the SK RaceBlades. That is what I use. They don't provide as much coverage as regular fenders but definitely help. Best of all, you can easily put them on or take them off as needed.
