We will start with a nice Bacon Gooey Egg Thing.

Add some perfect Spring Weather (after a couple of wet cold weekends).

Open roads with no traffic and your sweetie on a bike.

Now we'll need some real no fooling around climbing and one of the longest straight and wide downhills in the Mid-Atlantic.

Then some more rollies and a nasty East Coast climb.

Might as well include a Civil War Battlefield or two while we are at it.

Did I mention how nice the weather was?

You can't have an East Coast climb without a nasty brake pad melting drop to a double set of busted up rail tracks. It just wouldn't be right to miss that......

But what the heck, it is Spring. Let's add some dirt and the first greenery of the season.

Some Bluebells would be nice too!

The weather held up just fine.

Of course it wouldn't be perfection if we finished before dark.

And it would be no kind of perfection at all if we didn't have a mess-o-dinner!

It was perfection!

Can't wait for next weekend. :)

As long as the weather holds up.

How you snapped a picture while finishing the climb up to that arch is beyond my imagination. It is tough no matter which side you climb up.

I knew that pic was there waiting for me (if I could only keep up with Miss M on a steep climb after 100 miles). It was just too good to not go for it.

Glad to see spring has arrived for you. It's fun to see spring come to different parts of the country at different times. Great pics as always.

Super pics! It wouldn't hurt to give a few more angles of the Bacon Gooey Egg Thing though...be still my beating heart.

Wow, that low angle shot of the blue-bells and trail was wonderful! It's interesting to see what the trail looks like in spring...I've only seen it in summer and winter. Looks like a lovely ride.

But surely a Modelo and a nice seafood stew make up for it! :D

Not bad, but what's MissM got over there? Tamale in a banana leaf?

Mostly south american cuisine uses a banana leaf as opposed to the mexican style corn husk to make their tamales . . .I should know I'm a professional tamale eater! :D

Awesome pics as always, your ride reports are nothing short of inspiring to ride even more.
