At last we've had a few contiguous days without rain and last night the humidity (dew points in the mid 70s) finally broke, thankfully, without the usual thunderstorm. This morning was cool and dry. I woke up at 5:15, drank a cup of coffee while I waited for the sun to come up. Then I grabbed my gear and got on the bike. I got in a beautiful little 40 mile loop. Great weather, little traffic, no mishaps, just me the bike and the road. Tonight and tomorrow the rain comes back so I've learned to grab these opportunities when I can.

Same temps and dew point here. A bunch of us went out for a 30 miler last night. The skies opened up about 4 miles from the finish. Thankfully there was no lightning or thunder. The rain felt good & cooled things down immediately. It was an immediate temp/humidity change that was wonderful except for 1 thing.

Sure...you guessed it. I had just finished detailing my bike about an hour before the ride. :-(
