The item I'm referring to are dust caps for some quill pedals. The kind that have a lip and you just push on (and pop off with a knife or something). Specifically for ofmega CX which are campy copies but without the screw on dust caps. I pulled a real bonehead move. Overhauled them and the outer cones (towards outside of pedal) were all pitted. So I get the genius idea of using larger ball bearings (which would make their resting spot slightly off the pitted race). Well that worked and the pedals were decently smooth. But 2 rides later and the caps had popped off. Anyone know where to find something that will work? I'll put back in the smaller balls.

Unrelated. 2 of 3 of my LBS didn't sell any kind of old school pedals clips and straps. I think I know how people that still use their slide rule must feel...
