Well, it's been a week and I've been going crazy waiting to get back on my bike. The back felt pretty good and I had a day off, so I figured what the heck. I just meandered around the city and took shots that were interesting to me. Here are some of the better ones...

The Trinity Trails coming into downtown...

Since the Stockshow and exposition was across the street, I stopped by there as well. Couldn't get inside to get any good shots though...

Of course you can't have the rodeo without a carnival as well...

Just down the street is the Kimbell Art Museum. Interesting sculpture...

Then I headed into downtown proper. Stopped by Burnett Plaza to pay homage to those that have to work today:

Fort Worth is also known as Panther City. A town so quiet that a panther was seen sleeping in the street next to the courthouse (according to some Dallasite with a bone to pick).

Last one I promise. I hope you've enjoyed some of the pics. It was a bit chilly today, and I only did about 20 miles. It felt great though. Nice to get back in the saddle.

I wasn't the only one in the saddle either.

Oh no! I'm done with crashing for a while. Too much trouble. Shoulder is finally on the mend and range of motion is back.

I'll make sure I have my camera with me more often though.

I bet the frog can sprint really really fast. I like that one the best.
Absolutely! Did you see the legs on that thing?

Nice post

Glad you are feeling better; I really enjoyed your pictures, where are you posting from? I love the frog, I'd be afraid my bike would go into the water. Thanks for sharing.

Fort Worth Texas.

The frog just called out to me. Actually I don't know if you can see it or not, but the back wheel is against a lip, that's what kept it from going in. If it had gone in it wouldn't have been that bad, the fountain is about 12-14 inches deep.

Great pics, I love posing the bike for shots. I'll have to do better though to keep up with stuff like your's. I think I am getting a new camera for my birthday so we'll see.... ;)
Thanks,
