Is there one already? Well it not I'll be the first in this thread.

Busted my A$$ in front of a grocery store to get water, Clipped out on my left foot, tipped over to the right side. Ego is bruised...

You quickly learn to never be cocky when it comes to only unclipping one foot. For me, it wasn't on solo rides, but on my first group ride with them. Fell over right into someone. Small cut on my knee, and definitely a bruised ego too.
Saw a guy fall over into a cardboard trash can at a rest stop once too. Guess he thought it would support his weight.

On the way home while stopping for an intersection, i almost busted my butt too, but i did one of those desperation clip outs, and landed hard on my cleat... Luckily, God put a large piece of styro foam right under my shoes.

So were supposed to unclip both feet?

My first ride with clipless went according to plan... untill I got home, for some reason, I wanted to stop between two trees and that is when I fell, at 0km per hour but right on my left knee. A little later I developed a minor knee tendonitis that kept me off the bike for a couple of weeks and I think it might have had to do with the incident.

Anyway, now I just unclick a few meters before I stop. Haven't fallen eversince.

if you NNC on dirt, you may still do this after thirty years of cycling.

or not, I may just be a more0n. you never know.

//the old CompuServe crowd used to call this maneuver an Arte Johnson for the old running gag on Laugh In.

Only bad if you tip over at a stop sign in front of a moving car. Otherwise, most, if not all, of us have been there done that :).

First time out on clipless I was nearly stopped at a red light but couldn’t unclip correctly. I was going too slow to hold my balance (near dead stop) and then just fell over in slow motion onto the sidewalk… right in front of a criterium course about 50 feet away filled with volunteers and racers. Ha ha

I did the same at the top of a hill when I was first learning. I got to to top, looked left, looked right, and at 0 mph I just fell over.

Lucky there was no one there to see/document it.

I've busted my ass once clipped in. I was on my MTB and doing wheelies. Went a little too far back one time and landed on my back.

The worst one is the 'super slo-mo keel over'.

You're dead-stopped at a light/stop sign/whatev, are not really thinking about it, clip out one foot, and alluva sudden, start sloooooowly tipping over towards your clipped-in side.

You were spacing out, so by the time it registers that something's amiss, you have just barely passed the 'center-of-gravity point of no return'.

Thus giving you plenty of time to contemplate the error of your ways on the way down. :(

Only have done it once or twice... it's memorable enough so that you don't ever wanna do it again.

Actually a year ago, I got my bike and rode it after wrok for about 10 miles, don't know how, but did not have to unclip through 3 stop lights. Got home, pulled in the driveway and thought, I'll just ride around to the back of the house; fortunately I was on my lawn, and then I thought, "oh no, I've stopped and haven't unclip" and to the ground I went.

I call it a left foot, right brain thing.

I have not clipped for a year or more, but I still could figure out how to bust my ass if I had to. I don't need no fancy peddles to fall over.
