In an exciting crash (read: I fell over at 0 mph) my seat came apart. Specifically, the nose end of the saddle rails popped out of the pocket in the shell that normally contains it. I've tried most everything I can think of to get it back in, without luck. Nothing's broken, I just can't seem to flex the rails enough to get it back together. Any tricks for repair would be appreciated.
Failing repair, I need to replace it. I'll probably get another Aliante, as it's about the most comfy seat I've found. However, I'm open to suggestions. Any one that loved their Aliante but has found a new favorite, please chime in.
FWIW, it's the OEM "sport" model, with Ti rails and plastic shell.
TIA.
