It's been my experience, as well as others on this post, that sealing Dugast tires with Aquaseal doesn't produce great results. FMB sidewalls, on the other hand, have been hailed in reviews. My understanding is that FMB tires use a latex coating. Is there any reason why I wouldn't want to do the same with my Dugasts? I bought some carpet seam sealer which, if I'm not mistaken, is the same liquid latex as Jevelot, and I'm thinking of keeping the sidewalls coated with this. It'll probably mean more attention to the tires than simply putting on Aquaseal and forgetting about it, but hopefully I won't have the tire rot problems I now experience with water getting under the Aquaseal. I'd really appreciate any input.

I have used Jevelot on Duggies with much better success than Aqua or Seam Seal.
I did use multiple coats.
