My height 184 cm, 90 inseam (legs are longer than the norm). According to the calculator on competitive cyclist i should have seat tube 60-61-62-63 and tt 55.5-56-57 (depending on position). I tried 56 frame (with ett 56), saddle handlebar drop was 11-13 cm , which seemed too big. What frame size should i take 58,59 or 60? What is better - to have a bigger frame and compensate for excess ett by shorter hb stem or a smaller one with bigger s-hb drop and compensate for that by lifting hb with adjustable stem/extender? What should saddle- handlebar drop be for a touring bike? (I would like them ideally to be at the same height)

That Miyata is just an nice version of a very average bike from 40 years ago. It looks like a $200 bike at best. Your idea would cost you probably another $600, and in the end you would have a weird, heavy bike with $1000 invested that's still only worth $200.

It's your money, waste it as you see fit....
