Sorry...I knew what you meant...I am just a smart ass and can't help it. If the bike is in good condition and fits well and you are happy with it...then sounds like a good deal.
I used to have a Fuji Royale, the Absolute replaced it. Although there are three different offerings from Fuji, I think the top of thine line comes closest to the Royale which had a carbon fork, and seat stays. I loved my Royale, until someone ripped it off. It also had canti brakes, not sure about the one you have. For a flat bar bike is was fun! You should be able to get back to road bike status. I believe they came with triple chain ring, Truvativ cranks but a compact would be fine. I replaced mine with Campagnolo Mirage triple. The Shimano, flat bar combination brake/shifter levers worked great, but I was also looking to replace my system Campy's Mirage version.
In any case, I think you did good for $100. would be worth it to build up again...
