If you want a very strong trainng wheel, then yes the fulcrum 5 are perfect. Tey are on the heavy side(1810 grams) but who cares for training? Very nice hubs and once you getem rolling, they go forever.

Is the Fulcrum 5 wheel a good choice? Has anyone tried it?
Nothing wrong with these wheels, but perhaps the price. You could get a good set of wheels built with the appropriate hubs (Centaur, Ultegra?) with Velocity or MAVIC rims that would be lighter and performa just as well. They would likely cost less and be serviceable locally.

Fulcrum 5 wheels

I got a pair for my Roubaix and they work great. A little heavy but unless you are a weight weenie they will work just fine :)
