Way to go George!

Apparently a late solo / early sprint got the W for GH at the Dauphine. Good on ya boy.

It was a chaotic finish as the peloton couldn't get organized once they came off the descent with only a couple of kilometers to go. Hushvold had a single lead out guy but he blew-up just inside the final km and bunching occured at the front. A Gerolsteiner rider took the oppurtunity to jump away and Hincapie went after him thru the final turn. Whoever was on Hincapie's wheel looked like he braked which opened up a gap. Hincapie made it to the G-rider and sat on him for a couple of hundred meters and then outsprinted him. The bunch caught them right at the line, in fact I think the Gerolsteiner rider didn't even get second.

Sporza should have video, they typically do a short highlights clip and the final km on their website for any major race.

As a domestique he isnt paid to win stages or wear the maillot jaune(TDF)....just in case you havent noticed. Let us all know when youre riding the Dauphine and ill make sure theres someone cheering you on

Just in case you have not noticed: there is more to the cycling year than TDF.
He is paid to do well in the spring classics for example. A place where he has never achieved what had been hoped for, by him and fans alike.

As a classics specialist (his spring-time job) you are expected to win big one-day races, something GH has been unable to do with consistency.

This isnt a 'classic'... its the Dauphine

Save your comment for when he's racing a classic. It doesnt apply on this race.

(probably the most under rated racer ever)
You might want to think about saving your comments for when they have any reasonable meaning whatsoever.

I like GH. He seems to be a pretty nice guy. I like it when he wins and wish that was more often. He is not underrated. He hasn't lived up to expectations.

if he isn't paid to win stages, wtf is he doing winning a stage?

and btw, he has worn the maillot jaune. and won a stage in the tdf as well (when he was a domestique, even).

and thanks for the encouragement, as soon as the restraining order is lifted I'll try to get Johan to return my calls.
