Hey, noticed this on the TdF telecasts - but it appeared to me that Schumacher and co. were not on the Transitions - but on some other frames rebranded as Specialized. Wonder why- 'cause the Transition is supposed to be the real deal...

Any one have any insight?? or inside info from the mother ship? What frames were they on?

TT frames

They ride Walser frames. High zoot German makers. Quite expensive.

Probably because they're in such short supply that even the pros can't get them.

Seriously though, too bad for Specialized. Boonen winning Paris-Roubaix on the new Roubaix SL2 was an ad campaign come true. Schumacher winning a Tour TT stage on a Transition would have been great from them too.

They have been on Walsers forever, maybe even before Specialized got them. Quick Step are all on Transitions.
