Hit a milestone today...finally broke under 200 lbs! Just seeing that needle not go over the second time around felt great...10-15 more to go though (I'm 6'4")...hopefully by mid-April if I stick to it.

But even better was getting out after work for a 41 miles ride (mostly in the dark) on one of the first clear days in Portland this year...okay, so it was clear yesterday too, but I was already committed to a 5 mile run with my brother. Hoping for more of them so I can build some miles off the trainer and get ready for my first ever road race on March 25th (39 miles, mostly rolling).

I'm sure I'll have more questions as I get closer to the date. For now I'm just happy to be seeing some gains (and losses) after finally getting fully committed to making a run at it this season.
