I'm looking to buy a comfort/hybrid, for basically a 3 mile commute once every other week, and then a mile trip to grocery store once a week, and also pulling trailer for my 3 year old around neighborhood occassionally. So... low mileage.
The LBS has '05 Giant Cypress for $275.
The other LBs has GT Timberline for $330.
Dick's Sporting Goods has Diamonback Wildwood Deluxe for $215.
And it has the GT Timberline for $220... for that price, it's hard to go with the LBS.
Any recommendations, experience with either? It is worth extra money to go with LBS if bikes are otherwise similar.
