Hi guys, I've had this bike for 2 and a bit months now, and whilst climbing a small hill the other day, the chain came off. I pushed it the rest of the way up and put the chain back on and thought that was that.

The next day when I was going to work, I found that the front crank gear (a shimano sora) wouldn't change into the higher gear, it stays in the low gear and makes a rattle when I change it on the lever.

The rear gears all change fine but it's frustrating as I'm limited to 18mph as well as worrying about any damage that's being caused.

Can anyone help or suggest anything?

you can fix it yourself or take it back to the shop you bought it from and they'll fix it. if you want to try, check out parktool.com and go to the blue tab on the top/right of the page 'repair help'. you can learn how to adjust anything there.
