Wondering if anyone knows whether a Giant Connect seatpost (from this bike TCR 2 (2011) - Bikes | Giant Bicycles | UK / Ireland) would fit into the frame of this Trek 1.5 (TrekBikes.com Bike Archive | 2010 1.5)

No it wont, not at all. The TCR has an aerodynamic seatpost, there's no way.

Not that TCR, it takes a standard round post just like the Trek. Assuming they are both 27.2 diameter then yes it will fit.No it wont, not at all. The TCR has an aerodynamic seatpost, there's no way.
