Anyone listening? Big Scottish voices. Big Scottish guitars. Gut-wrenching lyrics. All the usual happiness of Glasgow with a straight-up tribute to Jesus and Mary Chain thrown in. Can't stop listening. Sorry no embedding (or at least I can't work it on this one).

Are they Celtics or Rangers fans? I was in Glasgow when I roamed over Scotland and England on a BritRail pass in my college days. Glasgow reminded me of my hometown and a lot of other industrial towns that had seen better days. Glaswegians speak a dialect that is as hard for me to understand as any in the English language.

I heard a radio interview of them a week or so ago. Pretty good stuff. Interesting to hear what they chose to play (guest dj's).

I like em but don't love em. They just seem a bit too derivative to me. I'd rather listen to Teenage Fanclub or The Raveonettes.
