Hi all!
I am desperate to get a road bike without breaking the bank, and I found someone who wants to sell me a 2005 Schwinn Fastback LTD for $900. The components from the craigslist ad:
Frame: 2005 Schwinn Fastback LTD size Large
Fork: Columbus Carve full carbon (upgraded from the stock fork)
Shifters: Dura Ace 9 speed
R. Derail: Dura Ace
F. Derail: Ultegra double
Crankset: Shimano R700 compact (new last summer..very low miles)
Cassette: Ultegra 12/27 (new this month, less than 100 miles)
Chain: SRAM (new this month, less than 100 miles)
Seatpost: Easton EC70 Carbon
Seat: Nashbar
Bars/Stem: Ritchey Pro on both, 44cm bars, 90mm stem
Brakes: Dura Ace (new brake pads)
Wheels: Cane Creek Strados (very light use)
Tires: Maxxis (under 100 miles)
This seems like a good deal. What do you all think? Should I pull the trigger?
