I only met him a couple of times. Last time I was at his house several years ago, he was coming home from a ride on his 'bent. His home was open to all and he was a good guy. Tragic that he met this end. A reminder for all of us to be careful--but I'm not sure what we can do to avoid some of these situations. I guess we all take our chances everytime we ride.
