For the amount of use it'll get, buying a specialty tool doesn't make sense. Either use the plastic tool you have, or a four or 6" adjustable, or a pair of slipjoint pliers. If you insist on spending dough, bring the valve to a hardware store and buy a small open end wrench that fits.
One of those round Universal Spoke Wrenches works great and the '12' fits presta valve and they are cheap.
A 5/32" Craftsman open mini-wrench also fits nicely.
They fit the Flats on the removable valve cores in some presta valves.
Continental has removable cores. Michelin does not.
A pair of pliars works just as well.
