I was unable to sign up for Levi's GranFondo in time, but a friend of mine did. He now wants to "give up" his spot in the GranFond to me, if I buy him a spot in the PiccoloFondo! It's a great move for me, but I have a question-does anyone know the proper way to do this? Is there a proper way? A friend of mine said that I should just "ride under my buddie's name, and he'll ride under mine". Is that the only way to do it? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
