I don't know how I got it.
Anyhow,
I'm a collegiate rower, and I had to take a season off.
Also, I cant even ride my bike when it's amazingly nice outside.
I hate my life.

Please be careful with your back.

Yah dude... 26years old here, and I have 4 that are jacked up. 2 are probably permanently messed up, and 2 that can getback to 90-95%.

Dont screw with it. When you disturb it, TAKE TIME OFF, and let it heal. I have had nagging issues due to pushing it too hard. Also, for me, riding helps alot. But not on the road bike, only the touring/commuting bike since the geometry is more upright.

When it gets really bad, a perscription of vicodin and soma (muscle relaxer) for 2 - 4 days really does wonders.

Take care of it dude, you only get one!

Second that. Had a herniated disc (L4-L5 region) that hurt so bad that I finally opted for surgery. Sad thing is, as soon as I was pain free I stopped doing my stretching exercises.

Thanks for reminding me.

I had one in the fall of 2007 and didn't get it checked until I couldn't walk. Haven't been on a bike since Oct, 2007, with exception of recumbent excersize bike. I'd rather walk than ride a bent. This spring will be the test to see if I can ride without pain.
