Just looked through the images of Greg Van Avermaet's bike from PR.

The bike that won Paris-Roubaix - BikeRadar

One thing that caught my attention was the significant difference in lower head tube width and fork crown width.
This can of course happen when you combine custom fork and frame, but on a complete frame set, from one of top brands. Just seems like a weird design decision. Wouldn't it also allow for more dust and sand (mud, gravel, water etc.) to access the bearing area?

It's photo no 4.

Your 5 cents? :)

Arh! Looking closer at the BMC website and the photos, it seems like it IS a custom frame fork combination. It's a Granfondo frame with Teammachine (?) fork.... Interesting... :ihih:
