Hey,
I'm a casual rider (non-racer right now, but an agressive casual rider) and I've convinced myself that I want deep-section wheels that I can use everyday....Hed wheels have jumped to the top of my list based on reviews, but I'm worried about the rider weightlimit of 190lbs... I'm about 177 now, but my weight varies from about 173 in the summer to as much as 18 in the winter (when I'm not riding anyways I suppose)...am I going to have any problems with HED Jet 4's or Jet 50's (I can get a closeout rear wheel at a great price...$270 CDN)

Any advice would be appreciated!

Thanks!
Andrew

They should hold up fine. Hed can build them for heavier riders at no extra cost. It's their "Stallion" build. If you are worried about them, ride your existing wheels until you are comfortable weight wise in the spring/summer.
