I've made my decision and I'm going to get me a BMC bike this October. Which one should I get? I love to ride and would to spend around $1500 to $2000 on frame or a complete bike.

I'm 5'10 weigh between 180-185 lbs. I just want the bike to of value and a decent road bike that will last me like 5-6 years.

Please provide me with suggestions. By the way the BMC forum is awesome.

I've got my eye on the BMC road racer SL 01/SRAM Rival complete bike at CC. The frame is a pretty good deal to.

What's the actual weight of that bike? I might just go full out carbon.

Maybe I should hold off til 2011 and see where the prices might end up at?

Not super light, but hey, if you can still build the bike to 16-16.5 lbs then your still lighter than a lot of other bikes. I you want aluminum AND really light........CAAD9. I'm a sucker for BMC styling.

The roadracer puts the power to the ground! When others feel the need to stand you can sit and just - GO!

Tell us about your local riding conditions and your level of experience - is this a 2-3 times a week thing or are you hooked?:D Do you work on your own bikes?
