I just bought the following items:
American Classic CR420 wheels with Shimano compatible hub
SRAM Rival groupset with 12-25 cassette - 10 speed.

Question 1
There was no spacer ring with the cassette.
There was a spacer ring with the wheels.
Do I need to use the American Classic spacer ring?

Question 2
Do I need to use the American Classic pins or clips?
According to this link below I do not need to use pins/clips however there is a small amount of movement with the cassette on the hub.

You do not need a spacer or the clips with the SRAM cassette and an AC hub. You might want to try the .5mm spacer to get the best alignment within the derailleur adjustment range, though....

Disclaimer....I work for American Classic.....

Wow .. that is a positive disclaimer.

Thanks. Just ignore my other email to your sales email address that I grabbed from the website.

Just to clarify, in the first sentence you suggest I don't need the spacer but then in second sentence you said I might need it.

I haven't installed a groupset before. Should I leave out the spacer, then gently tighten the casssette then try adjusting the derailleur and see what happens? If all looks ok, then correctly tighten the cassette?
