[Derailer]

Can anyone tell what the problem is in this picture? My friend's bike isn't staying in gear at all. It looks like a limit screw problem, but I want to check with y'all before I go giving him any half-baked advice. BTW, not surprisingly, he reports that the cycling in China is great!

Sounds to me like his chain is too short for an oversized cassette. Are you certain he didn't exceed the tooth capacity of the rear derailleur? I used to see this pretty often in the 70's, when people tried to put a 14-32 frewheel on a bike that had a short cage derailleur.
