I have Specialized road bike and just broke rear wheel. I am considering both Performance Forte Titan and Neuvation M28 Aero's due to limited budget ($250-$300). I am a big rider 6'4" 215lbs and ride mostly alone in fairly hilly areas. Can anyone provide direction on quality? Is it all about weight? The Forte's seen cheap $ for the weight. The Forte's are also 27mm height and 13mm width. What is a good weight/height for rider of my size and abilities.

In that price range, I'll be the first to say Mavic Open pro with the appropriate hubs (shimano or campy).

If you wait for a 15 or 20% performance code, you can get them for even less

Sometimes they're on sale for $200 and you can combine that with one of their discount codes, check the hot deals forum on this site for the codes.

You can also just purchase the rear wheel only.
